These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ginti mobile application ("App") operated by Sri Sadguru Software Solutions LLP ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Ginti is an automatic expense tracking application. The App detects financial notifications from banking and payment apps (on Android) or clipboard content (on iOS) and uses AI to extract and categorize transaction details. Ginti is a personal finance tracking tool — it is not a bank, payment processor, or financial advisor.

2. Account Registration

• You must create an account to use Ginti. You can sign in using Google, Apple, or email and password.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
• One person may maintain only one account.

3. Subscription and Payment

• Ginti offers a premium subscription at $79.99 per year (approximately $6.67/month), billed annually.
• Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) using their respective in-app purchase systems.
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
• Refunds are subject to the refund policies of Apple or Google, as applicable.
• Subscription pricing may vary by country or region based on local App Store and Google Play pricing tiers. Promotional offers, discounts, and introductory pricing may also vary by region and are subject to change at any time.
• We may introduce, modify, or discontinue subscription tiers (e.g., monthly, half-yearly, or other billing periods) at any time. Changes to available plans will not affect your current active subscription until its renewal date.

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use Ginti only for lawful, personal expense tracking purposes. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to process data for third parties or commercial purposes beyond personal finance tracking
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App through automated means

5. Notification and Clipboard Access

• Android: During onboarding, a dedicated disclosure screen explains which apps Ginti monitors and why. Notification listener access is optional and can be skipped. If enabled, the App uses Android's Notification Listener Service to read notifications from a predefined list of financial apps (banks and payment platforms) only. All other notifications are completely ignored and never read, stored, or transmitted. You can revoke this permission at any time through Android Settings → Apps → Special app access → Notification access.
• iOS: The App provides a "Paste from Clipboard" button. Your clipboard is only read when you explicitly tap this button. The App never reads your clipboard automatically or in the background.

6. AI Processing

• Ginti uses AI to parse transaction details from notification text.
• Personally identifiable information (account numbers, card numbers, phone numbers, payment identifiers) is stripped from the text before it is sent to the AI service.
• AI-based parsing is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in transaction detection, amount extraction, merchant identification, or category assignment.
• You are responsible for reviewing and approving transactions before they are finalized in your records.

7. Data and Privacy

• Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
• Your transaction data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and is associated with your account.
• You can export your transaction data as CSV at any time from the Profile screen.
• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data.

8. Intellectual Property

• The Ginti App, including its design, code, features, branding, and content, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.

9. Disclaimers

• Not financial advice. Ginti is an expense tracking tool. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.
• Accuracy. While we strive for accuracy in transaction parsing, AI-based detection may occasionally produce errors. You should verify transaction details before relying on them.
• Availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App
• Any errors in AI-based transaction parsing or categorization
• Any unauthorized access to your data resulting from your failure to secure your account

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

• You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the App, other users, or us.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
