Delete Your Ginti Account

You can delete your Ginti account at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data — profile, transactions, budgets, and settings — from our servers. This action cannot be undone.

How to delete your account

Option 1: From the app (recommended)

1. Open Ginti
2. Go to Profile (bottom-right tab)
3. Scroll to Delete Account
4. Confirm

Your account is marked for deletion immediately and you are signed out. All associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 7 days.

Option 2: By email (if you no longer have the app installed)

Email hello@ginti.app from the address linked to your Ginti account, with the subject "Delete my account".

We will:

• Verify your identity using your registered email
• Delete your account within 7 days of verification
• Send confirmation once deletion is complete

What gets deleted

• Profile (email, display name, photo)
• All transactions and recurring transactions
• Budgets and category settings
• Notification and reminder preferences
• All cloud-synced data in Firestore

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel separately:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Ginti
• Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ginti
